On Monday, May 1st, the softball team had a game against East Wake Academy for their senior night. The Patriots fought hard and had to play 10 innings with a tie of 8-8, sadly the patriots could not pull off the win. They ended with a score of 8-10 with East Wake the victors. This was a sad day for the patriots but they are still proud of themselves for playing a heck of a game. Each one of the seniors had clutch hits and plays this is what held the team together through this tough match. No one got down on themselves and this is what we like to see from strong teams such as this. Congrats to Carly Graves, Claire Batten, Anna Rogers and Madison Ward for making it through the senior year and for playing your hearts out on the field. You will truly be missed.
