The Patriots Varsity Baseball scored seven runs in the top of the seventh to beat St. Thomas More Academy 16-8. It was the Patriots first game one win in 4 years. Chandler Williams (1-0) pitched for the win in 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief - he didn't give up a hit.
Isaac Wier was 3-4 with 2 doubles, 4 RBIs and scored 3 runs. Trevor Rohrs was 2-3, drove in 3 runs and was the starting pitcher. Chandler Williams was 2-3 and scored 4 runs. Lucas Wier, Adan Rodriguez, and Jacob Joyner each had multiple hit games.
The Patriots (1-0, 0-0) are at home for a conference game TODAY at Flaherty Park with Voyager Academy. Gametime is 4pm.
