Robert Driver pitched and led the Patriots hitting attack in the 10-4 conference win versus rival East Wake Academy Wednesday, clinching a third place finish in conference for the third straight year.  Although they need help from EWA and VA, the Patriots have their eyes fixed on second place Roxboro; who they play Saturday.  

Driver (2-5) pitched 5 innings, needing only 57 pitches.  Of those 57 pitches, he threw 45 strikes for an unheard of 78% strike percentage.  He also drove in 3 runs with a single and a sacrifice fly; taking the conference RBI lead.  Isaac Wier pitched two scoreless innings to complete the game.  Jacob Faulkner and Lucas Wier reached base three times each with hits, walks, and wearing pitches.  Lucas also added 2 stolen bases adding to his number one place in the entire state with 35 for the year.  Many outstanding defensive plays helped the cause.  Senior Alfred D'Ottavio threw out two runners trying to steal bases.  

This Friday, May 6th, is SENIOR GAME for the Patriots who face St. Thomas More at Flaherty Park at 4pm.  Admission is free.
