Tennis into Elite 8

The FA Women’s Tennis team is the the elite 8 teams left in the team playoffs. They defeated Chatham Central 8-1 on Tuesday. The lopsided result is misleading however. 4 singles matches went to 3rd set tiebreaks. Winning those close matches were Abby, Sydney, and Niamh. Anisah and Ashlynn won in straight sets. We dominated doubles with all our teams winning. CC had the E. Regional 2nd place team, but they fell to Anisah/Abby 10 -6. The Stephan’s won 10-2, and Sydney/Isabelle won 10-3. On to Raleigh Charter and a chance for the East finals!
