Casey Langer Finishes 2nd in East Regional Tennis Tournament

On Saturday senior Casey Langer defeated her long time rival, Kinsey Blount of Voyager, to move into the finals of the 1A East Regional Individual Tennis Tournament. She had already won her previous two matches to get into the semi-finals. Her 3 set match against Kinsey lasted 2 hours 50 minutes, and with that win Casey has made it farther in the tournament than any other FA singles player ever. Unfortunately she lost in the finals to Julissa Quintanilla of N.Duplin, but still she and all of FA is proud of her accomplishment. Great job Casey!
