Caitlyn Burkett and Aaron Rovnak are Regional Champs
Caitlyn Burkett repeated as Mideast Regional Champion as she outdistanced her nearest competitor by almost a minute! Her time of 19:08 was her best on the WakeMed course and her second fastest time ever, setting her up nicely for next week's state meet. Freshman Aaron Rovnak surprised a lot veteran runners as he pushed the pace and clinched the guys' regional title by running a personal best time of 17:12, making him the first men's champion FA has ever had.
