On Thursday, September 14th, the Franklin Academy boys JV soccer team (0-4-1) played Wake Christian Academy (4-0-2) at home. In the first half, Andrew Keel on FA, pinged a ball into the top bins of the goal from just outside of the goalkeeper box making it 1-0. Then, in the second half, Wake Christian applied pressure to FA and scored from only a couple feet away which made the score 1-1. Both teams were very competitive in the last minutes of the second half but nobody managed to score. In the end, both teams went home with a tie.
