VANCE CHARTER SCHOOL: 0
The Franklin Academy varsity volleyball team moved to 2-2 on the season last Wednesday, August 23rd with a 3-0 rout of Vance Charter. The Patriots took the 3 sets by scores of 26-24, 25-13, and 25-19. We had a strong showing from our seniors with Brittany Harris leading the Patriots’ attack with 8 kills, Kiley Hughes dominating the net with 4 blocks. Hughes and April Wiseman led the Patriots with 12 digs each. With the win, the Patriots are off to a 1-0 start in conference play after beginning the season with a slate of 3 non-conference matchups.
